The Karate Kid resurrected with this Columbia Pictures production starring Will Smith's son, Jaden, as the youngster who learns more than simple karate lessons from a whimsical martial arts master (Jackie Chan).
Synopsis:
Dre 12 years Parker (Jaden Smith) attended his mother (Taraji P. Henson), moved to China. In his new class Dre fell in love with her classmates in May Ying. That caused him hostile to Cheng. In the land of kung fu, Drew knows only a little karate, and Cheng beat "karate kids" with ease.
In this foreign land, Dre did not have any friends except Mr. Han (Jackie Chan) who works as maintenance man. Mr. Han secretly is kung fu expert. Han then teach kung fu to Dre. Dre realized he must face the bullies to fight for his life.
